I love art, art history,carttooning, illustration of all kinds; literature, as well as jazz, and well as any really GOOD music (see reference above about Eclectic & Picky). I like my privacy but I don't mind communicating. I like a good laugh, and I enjoy most of the things that most folks like. I have a certain animal magnetism--that is to say, animals like me. Pedagogue Sculptor Ahmet Nuray putting on over 20 individual exhibition in the USA is for the first time in İstanbul…
A fine example of Ahmet Nuray’s latest Works is a sculpture at a height of 3 meters and 60 cm and made of a lime tree which is 260 years old it weighs 1,5 tonnes. Nuray addresses women rights wiht this sculpture.
Ahmet Nuray being famous in the USA, has been living in Switzerland for four years .Nuray, whose granddad and father was a carver , studied pedagogy in the USA. İt’s the first time that he’s exhibited his Works at Ramko Art Gallery.
The pieces of a very fine Turkish sculptor will be exhibited in Ramko Art Gallery from March 31 to April 20.
Ahmet Nuray is to exhibit his works in Turkey for the first time. 15 years ago he moved to the USA.There being very famaus in California gave him the right to use stones such as turqoise, yılantaşı and jade unconditionally.
The artist,who has the ability in carving all the materials and makes use of alabaster, marble,jade,wood,clayey,soil,and metals,has been living in Switzerland since 1985.
Ahmet Nuray having lots of special collections in exactly 20 private museum and galleries in Switzerland incorparates his studies in the field of pedagogy with his art.
Being both a pedagogue and having a collection of his own studies in the field of pedagogy, Nuray is mentioned in Switzerland media as it follows.
‘His idea of art is not also life but also sharing. His pieces of work aren’t for decorating but for realizing and touching .Thus, the marble will come to life and whisper its secret.
The artist is mostly deals with in many of his pieces of work.One of his sculpture was appropriated to White House by Mrs.Reagan.
Having a workshop in Tarabya ,Nuray will spend a great deal of his time in Turkey.His ambition is to work for the benefit of Turkish children and to be able to give them free sculpture courses.
